Music media publisher Seventh Street Media has appointed Ben Pellow as its commercial director.

Pellow joins Seventh Street Media from HT&E, where he worked across both ARN and Conversant Media.

The hire follows the rapid growth of Seventh Street Media, which has grown from four staffers to 17 since its launch at the start of 2017.

“Our firm belief is that brands should be the creators of original content, not the ads before or after” said Luke Girgis, CEO of Seventh Street Media.

“Emotion drives consumer behaviour more than any other factor, and music is the most emotional art form so we are uniquely positioned to offer our brands and partners unprecedented influence and access to market.”

“The success that SSM has achieved already this year is a clear example of the market’s hunger for deeper connections with Australian audiences," said Pellow.
