The Daily Telegraph has announced that streaming service Binge will deliver its award-winning documentary investigation, The War: Australia’s Bikie Killings, as a special 90-minute documentary streaming from the 26th of April on Binge.

The War: Australia’s Bikie Killings goes on the road and into the newsroom with The Daily Telegraph’s senior crime reporters Mark Morri and Josh Hanrahan as they take viewers through the characters and crime families of Sydney’s underworld wars and peel back the curtain on what’s causing all the chaos.

The Daily Telegraph’s Editor Ben English said since its digital-first launch in early 2022, The War has grown into the masthead’s most successful editorial franchise, tracking the bloody rise and fall of Sydney’s criminal elite.

The War was created by our team as a six-part documentary series to tell this important crime story over two years in an innovative way across multiple channels - video, audio and print,” English said.

“We’re delighted that people can now watch the investigation as a 90-minute documentary special on Binge.”

Binge executive director, Alison Hurbert-Burns, said: “As an Australian streaming service Binge offers the world’s best shows as well as telling powerful Australian stories. The War: Australia’s Bikie Killings looks at what is happening in our cities and on our streets and the investigative reporting and insight into this story makes for compelling viewing. It’s great to collaborate with Ben English and his team of journalists to bring this story to our audiences.”

The documentary looks inside the deadly conflict between bikies, the Hamzy and Alameddine crime families, and the depths of Sydney’s underworld.
