Total TV Ratings, April 2

ABC’s Father Brown topped the total TV ratings for non-news programs, bringing in 730,000 viewers, an increase of 12%.

Seven claimed the #2 non-news program with Seven’s AFL: Saturday Night Football, reaching a total TV audience of 656,000, and experiencing a lift of 1%

ABC’s Unforgotten had the highest lift on overnight with 31% to reach a total tv audience of 573,000.

Seven has taken the #1 network share spot with 33.6%, followed by Nine with 26.7%. Seven also claimed the top primary share with 22.2%, while Nine had 16.9%

Seven’s AFL Saturday Night Football coverage was the second most-watched non-news program, reaching an audience of 363,000 and ranking first amongst the 16-39 and 18-49 demographics.

205,000 Melbourne residents tuned in to watch The Fremantle Dockers clash with The GWS Giants, at Optus Stadium, winning 13.10 (88) - 8.6 (54), putting Fremantle back in AFL’s top four.

Additionally, 212,000 people watched The Adelaide Crows beat the Melbourne Demons 4.5 (29) to 2.4 (16) in Saturday’s Women’s AFL grand final.

Nine’s top non-news program was Getaway with 343,000 viewers, followed by an episode of Space Invaders, which reached an audience of 273,000.

The top non-news program of the night goes to ABC’s third episode of UK mystery series Father Brown which brought in an audience of 420,000, while Unforgotten reached an audience of 265,000.

10’s coverage of the 2022 Formula One World Championship bodes well for the network as the qualifying wrap reached an audience of 281,000, followed by the qualifying with 245,000.

The top non-news program on SBS was a repeat of The Secret History of World War II with 103,000 viewers

Fox League’s Live NRL coverage of the Titans v Eels match clocked 252,000 views, as the Eels took the win 26-20.

In an earlier game, The South Sydney Rabbitohs lead the St George Illawarra Dragons 24-12 in their clash at Accor Stadium, which reached 252,000 people.

Fox Footy’s Richmond v Western Bulldogs coverage reached 197,000 viewers, while Fox Sports 506 F1 Pit Lane Qualifying coverage had a viewership of 189,000.
