TV Ratings Dec 11: Nine wins by 0.1%, ABC's Back Roads top non-news performer

• Nine #1, but Seven close behind with both over 18% share
• Media Watch farewells 2017 with highlights for 500,000 viewers

Nine had the narrowest of leads in the primary channels, yet Seven had a narrow combined channel share.

Back Roads continues to perform well for ABC with over 700,000 last night.

Also on the channel, Media Watch ended its year with a look at The Daily Telegraph's coverage of Geoffrey Rush and a 2017 highlights package. The final episode did 553,000.

Malcolm Turnbull was on the media trail yesterday with Miranda Devine's new internet radio show in the afternoon and then Q&A last night. The penultimate edition of Q&A for the year did 413,000.
