Home and Away's new week started on 696,000 after a week 40 average metro audience of 633,000.

An hour of Highway Patrol then did 593,000.

Manhunt followed at 8.30pm with 387,000 after 448,000 last week.

Nine

A Current Affair averaged 809,000 across the week last week while there were 951,000 watching week 41's Monday episode. The episode explored solar power and was giving away solar chargepacks and a Tesla powerwall.

The Block certainly delivered Sunday night with 1.57m, and 1.387m were back again last night after 1.41m on Monday last week (which was that week's first episode).

Part two of Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders then did 581,000 after launching last week on 630,000.

TEN

The Project 7pm was on 540,000 after averaging 512,000 last week. Monday guests included Benjamin Law and his mum Jenny.

The penultimate night of Australian Survivor did 669,000 with Michelle Dougan eliminated in a fire-making challenge after a deadlocked tribal council vote. Tonight the series comes to a conclusion as the 2017 winning Survivor is crowned. A reunion episode will follow the final result.

For 55 days, Tara, Peter and Jericho have battled the challenging Samoan elements, intense hunger, exhaustion – and 21 other contestants – to try to win the title of sole Survivor and a not-too-shabby $500,000 in prize money.

Later in the night it was Have You Been Paying Attention? with Ed Kavalee, Georgie Carroll, Pete Helliar, Anne Edmonds and Michael James Scott while Osher Günsberg was a guest quizmaster. The episode had 760,000 watching after 721,000 a week ago.

ABC

Australian Story told viewers about Waverley Stanley who was a 12-year-old indigenous student at a country Queensland public school when his teacher Rosemary Bishop spotted "something special" in him. The episode did 576,000 after 696,000 last week.

Four Corners then did 567,000 for a story the broadcaster billed as one of the biggest environmental scandals in Australian history. The program last week did 644,000.

Media Watch was then on 519,000 with items ranging from the Las Vegas massacre to Macklemore and the NRL Grand Final.

Q&A then did 421,000 after 416,000 a week ago.

SBS

River Cottage has moved from 6pm weeknights to an hour at 7.30pm Monday with 174,000 watching last night.

The World's Most Extraordinary People followed with 194,000 at 8.30pm and then 24 Hours In Emergency was on 178,000.
