Nielsen Twitter TV Ratings w/c 30/8: VMAs, The Voice and US Open

The 2015 MTV Video Music Awards was Twittersphere's favourite subject of discussion last week.

The show, hosted by singer Miley Cyrus, attracting an unique audience of over 157,000 and 1.6 million impressions. The show carried a lot of talking points including Justin Bieber tearing up after the performance of his new single "What Do You Mean?", Cyrus' outfits and Nicki Minaj taking a dig at the host.

Nine's The Voice Grand Final made an entry into the Nielsen Twitter TV Ratings for the non-sport chart at #2. Meanwhile, the US Open and AFL dominated the sports chart.
