Nine News Adelaide is expanding its news coverage with the introduction of a locally produced live one-hour afternoon bulletin.

Nine Live Adelaide will launch on Monday January 30 at 4pm and concentrate on expanding coverage of local issues, crossing to crews on the scene of breaking stories as they happen.

Weekend presenter Will McDonald and award-winning Nine News reporter Alice Monfries will share presenting duties, broadcasting live each afternoon from the station’s city studios.

Tony Agars, Adelaide news director, said: “Nine’s Adelaide newsroom will now produce two hours of live and local bulletins from its state-of-the-art Hindmarsh Square studios.

“This further enables us to respond very quickly to breaking news and take our viewers to the scene as news is happening. We will be in your suburb covering stories that matter to you, getting the very latest on the weather front, and bringing you even more coverage on your local sporting team.”
