Eight sponsors are set to partner with the Nine Network in one of sport’s greatest rivalries as Australia takes on England in The 2015 Ashes – broadcast live, free and exclusive from the United Kingdom, in primetime and in high definition on GEM.

Returning sponsors Bet365, Swisse and Harvey Norman are joined by new sponsors NAB, Mercedes-Benz, Hungry Jack’s, Commander and Youi Insurance as every ball, every run and every wicket of The 2015 Ashes is captured as one of the most intense and enduring sporting rivalries of all-time hits screens.

Michael Stephenson, director of sales for the Nine Network, said: “Nothing captures the attention of our sporting nation like an Ashes series. Live sport continues to drive audience engagement and deliver unrivalled reach for brands, and I think we may surprise some people with the scale and demographic richness that this series delivers. Our sponsors are set to be part of something really special.”

The Nine Network’s live broadcast of Australia’s tour of England will include The Ashes Test Series, one Twenty20 International and the One Day International Series between Australia and England. Nine’s expert commentary team will feature Mark Taylor, Ian Healy, Michael Slater, Shane Warne, Brett Lee, Michael Vaughan and David “Bumble” Lloyd.

To complement Nine’s comprehensive broadcast, Wide World of Sports will have live updates across its social media channels – giving cricket fans behind-the-scenes access and exclusive match information throughout the exhilarating 2015 winter cricket campaign.

Cricket fans will also be able to watch every ball of Channel Nine’s coverage on their phone, tablet or PC with the Cricket Live streaming subscription. The website www.cricket.com.au and Cricket Australia Live App will keep viewers up to date with Live Stats, News and Video highlights of every day’s broadcast, so fans won’t miss a moment of the action.

The 2015 Ashes starts July 8 at 7.30pm AEST on the Nine Network.
