NLA appoints Priya Kanniappan as Sydney CMO

Her appointment follows a strong year with more than $420 million in novated leases.

Novated Lease Australia (NLA) has appointed Priya Kanniappan as CMO to lead the company’s marketing strategy.

She joins with more than 13 years’ experience in brand transformation, growth marketing and customer acquisition, having held senior leadership roles at carsales, Eventbrite and Easy Weddings.

Her appointment follows a strong year for NLA, with more than $420 million in novated leases originated in the past 12 months, up 45% year-on-year, across both SME and mid-to-large corporate customers and public sectors.

“NLA has taken a customer-first approach, doing the fundamentals exceptionally well and removing friction wherever possible,” she said.

“I’m excited to evolve the brand, accelerate growth, and help position Novated Lease Australia for its next phase.”

At NLA, Kanniappan will lead brand and customer marketing strategy as the business continues its expansion, with a focus on maintaining service quality and customer trust.

CEO Bevan Guest said the appointment reflects the company’s belief in brand and marketing as key growth drivers.

NLA has grown its workforce by around a third over the past year and now employs approximately 100 people nationally, ahead of further expansion in 2026.
