The Adam Giles Show will kick off the channel’s new Sunday evening lineup at 6pm, and premieres this Sunday May 6.

On the weekly, hour-long show, Giles will be joined by regional community leaders and politicians to discuss issues facing local communities. His launch guests include Sky News Darwin Bureau Chief Matt Cunningham, Perth journalist Jane Marwick and Federal MP for Wright Scott Buchholz.

Adam Giles said: “I am really excited to be joining the Sky News team. The new program is a great opportunity to give community leaders across different regions of Australia the chance to share their view on issues affecting them and their communities.”

A regular guest on Sky News programs, most recently on Paul Murray Live, Giles was Chief Minister from March 2013 to August 2016 and former leader of the Country Liberal Party.
