Perth Radio Ratings 2022, Survey 6: Nova tops, 96FM slides into second

Plus: Nova wins breakfast slot and Triple M moves up

Despite a 0.6 point fall, Nova’s Perth station maintains its spot at the top.

For another survey, Nova's Nathan, Nat & Shauncontinue to dominate the Perth breakfast slot with a 20.2% share, rising 0.2 points from survey five. Nova’s national drive program of KateTim and Joel came in at first with a 16.9% share, falling 0.4 points from last survey. 

Across demographics, Nova has kept the #1 share in the 10-17, 18-24, and 25-39 demos, but lost the 40-54 group.

ARN’s 96FM started 2022 as the #1 overall station in Perth, then dropped to third in recent surveys, but has risen to second in survey six with an increase of 2.5 points.

The station’s breakfast show, Clairsy and Lisa, rose 0.9 points for a share of 10.9%. 96FM maintained its #1 spot amongst the 55-64 demographic with a 19.1% share, an increase of 4.8 points, while also winning the 40-54 demo with a 19.1% share.

Hit Network’s Mix 94.5 has been pushed from second to third, with a 0.4 point loss. 

Mix 94.5’s breakfast lineup of Pete, Matt and Kymba has narrowly slipped to third, falling 0.4 points for a share of 10.8%.

The national drive show of Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little maintained its second spot, rising 1 point giving them a share of 13.0%.

A drop of 0.4 points saw the Nine Radio station take a total share of 7.2%.

Breakfast with Gareth Parker has risen by 0.4 for a share of 9.7%, while Mornings with Liam Bartlett increased 1 point for an 8.6% share total.

92.9 Triple M has risen 0.6 points to overtake 6iX. The station experienced a 2.7 point increase in the 25-39 demo to take a 10.6% share.

The breakfast team of Xav, Michelle, and Baz have fallen 0.4 points, bringing in a share of 6.0%, while The Rush Hour with Andrew Embley rose 0.5 points.

Despite rising 0.3 points, 6iX has fallen from fifth to sixth in this survey.

The station had the strongest increase in the breakfast slot with Rob and Nat, rising 1 point.

The station did best in the 55-64 demo with an 8.9% share, a decrease of 2.4 points in the Perth Radio Ratings.
