Perth Radio Ratings 2022, Survey 8: Nova 93.7 ends year on new high

Nova breakfast and drive also both have dominant wins

Nova’s Perth station maintains its spot at the top, experiencing a 0.9 point increase. 

For another survey, Nova's Nathan, Nat & Shaun continue to dominate the Perth breakfast slot with a 20.8% share, increasing 0.3 points from survey seven. Nova’s national drive program of KateTim and Joel came in at first with an 18.4% share, rising 0.9 points from last survey. 

Across demographics, Nova has kept the #1 share in the 10-17, 18-24, 25-39 and 40-54 demos.

Hit Network’s Mix 94.5 has decreased 1.1 points to narrowly maintain its spot at second in the last survey of the year.

Mix 94.5’s breakfast lineup of Pete, Matt and Kymba has fallen 1.4 points for a 10.2% share, placing third this survey.

The national drive show of Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little maintained its second spot, despite dropping 0.4 points, giving the station a share of 13.9%. The station's top demographic was 10-17, with 19.6%.

ARN’s 96FM started 2022 as the #1 overall station in Perth. In the last survey of the year, the station remains at third with a 0.3 point increase from survey seven.

The station’s breakfast show, Clairsy and Lisa, increased by 0.8 points for a share of 9.8%. 96FM maintained its #1 spot amongst the 55-64 demographic with a 20.1% share, a drop of 0.9 points.

Nine's Perth Radio station maintained its 8.5% share from survey seven.

In November, Gareth Parker handed the 6PR Breakfast baton to Steve “Millsy” Mills and Karl Langdon. In the latest survey, the breakfast slot has fallen 0.5 points for a 10.7% share, maintaining its second spot.

The station dominated the 65+ demo with a 17.9% share - an increase of 1.4 points.

92.9 Triple M has risen 0.4 points, for a 6.9% share, giving it a push up the ranks to end the year. The station experienced a 1 point increase in the 40-54 demo to take a 12.2% share.

The breakfast team of Xav & Michelle have risen 1 point bringing in a share of 6.3%. In November, Katie Lamb joined Andrew ‘Embers’ Embley to co-host The Rush Hour with Embers and Katie. The drive show slot fell 0.2 points for a 7.4% share.

Best Breakfast 5.7% (3.4%)

6iX has fallen 0.9 points, falling to sixth in the last survey of 2022. 

The station's breakfast slot with Rob and Nat, dropped by 1.0 point for a 4.3% share.  

The station did best in the 55-64 demo with a 13.5% share, an increase of 0.6 points in the Perth Radio Ratings.
