Perth Radio Ratings 2023, Survey 3: Nova reigns supreme despite being down

Nova’s Perth station maintains its spot at the top, despite a 1.1 point decrease from the 2nd survey of 2023. 

For another survey, Nova's Nathan, Nat & Shaun continue to top the Perth breakfast slot with a 17.3% share, decreasing 0.2 points from the second survey. Nova’s national drive program of Ricki-Lee, Tim and Joel came in at first with a 17.2% share, decreasing 1.1 points from the last survey. 

Across demographics, Nova has kept the #1 share in the 10-17, 18-24, 25-39 and 40-54 demos. The station rose 2.9 points in the 10-17 demographic but dropped 8.6 points in 18-24.

The second 2023 survey saw the station drop to third with a 12.9% share. The station is now back up to second with a 14.4% share. 

The station has enjoyed the biggest gain in the 18-24 demo, rising 5.1 points for 11.4%.

The station’s breakfast show, Clairsy and Lisa, increased by 0.3 points for a share of 12.4%. The national drive show of Will and Woody increased 0.3 points in Perth for a 13.3% share.

Hit Network’s Mix 94.5 has dropped to third place despite rising by 0.3 points with a share of 13.4%.

Mix 94.5’s breakfast lineup of Pete, Matt and Kymba has increased 1.6 points for a 13.8% share, placing second in the breakfast slot this survey.

The national drive show of Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little rose 0.9 points for a share of 13.6%, making it second in the drive slot. The station's top demographic was 10-17, with 20.5%, but grew in the 18-24 demo by 3.7 points.

92.9 Triple M rose 0.7 points, for a 6.8% share, it is now fourth in stations. 

The station experienced a 3.6 increase in the 18-24 demo to take an 11.6% share, making it the third most popular station in the age group.

The breakfast team of Xav and Michelle have increased by 0.6 points in the breakfast slot, bringing in a share of 7.4%.

In November last year, Katie Lamb joined Andrew ‘Embers’ Embley to co-host The Rush Hour with Embers and Katie. The drive show slot rose 1.5 points for a 6.7% share.

Nine's Perth Radio station lowered 0.9 points from the second survey of 2023 for a 5.8% share.

6PR Breakfast with Millsy and Karl decreased 1.0 points for a 9.6% share.

The station decreased 1.3 points in the 18-24 demo for a 6.6% share but remained stagnant in 55-64.

6iX has risen 0.9 points from the second Perth radio ratings survey of 2023. 

The station's breakfast slot with Rob and Nat rose by 1.5 points for a 4.6% share.  

The station did best in the 55-64 demo with a 10.0% share, rising 3.4 points.
