Perth Radio Ratings 2023, Survey 5: Nova 93.7 continues their dominance

Mix 94.5 stays third, despite dropping 1.1 points

Nova’s Perth station maintains its spot at the top, with a 1.1 point increase from the 4th survey of 2023. 

For another survey, Nova’s Nathan, Nat & Shaun continue to top the Perth breakfast slot with a 22.5% share, increasing 1.7 points from the fourth survey. Nova’s national drive program of Ricki-LeeTim and Joel came in at first with a 20.4% share, increasing 1.0 points from the last survey. 

Across demographics, Nova has kept the #1 share in the 10-17, 18-24, 25-39 and 40-54 demos. The station rose 1.2 points in the 10-17 demographic but dropped 3.4 points in 25-39.

Head of Programming Nova 93.7 Perth David McClung said: “I couldn't be prouder of the team at Nova 93.7 today. With Nathan, Nat & Shaun's best-ever share result after their first ACRA nomination for Best On-Air Team, along with a record share figure for the station, we've got a lot to celebrate today."

The third 2023 survey saw the station rise to second with a 14.4% share. The station maintains its second position rising 0.1 points for a 13.0% share.  

The station has enjoyed the biggest gain in the 40-54 demo, rising 1.9 points for 16.1%.

The station’s breakfast show, Clairsy and Lisa, increased by 0.1 points for a share of 10.2%. The national drive show of Will and Woody increased 1.1 points in Perth for a 14.9% share.

Hit Network’s Mix 94.5 maintained its third place position dropping by 1.1 points with a share of 11.1%.

Mix 94.5’s breakfast lineup of Pete, Matt and Kymba has decreased 1.8 points for a 10.5% share, placing tied second in the breakfast slot in this survey.

The national drive show of Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little dropped 1.5 points for a share of 11.2%, making it third in the drive slot. The station’s top demographic was 10-17, with 21.1%, but dropped in the 25-39 demo by 1.6 points.

92.9 Triple M rose 0.5 points, for a 7.6% share, staying fourth in stations. 

The station experienced a 2.7 decrease in the 18-24 demo to take a 5.7% share.

The breakfast team of Xav and Michelle have increased by 1.1 points in the breakfast slot, bringing in a share of 9.1%.

In November last year, Katie Lamb joined Andrew ‘Embers’ Embley to co-host The Rush Hour with Embers and Katie. The drive show slot rose 0.1 points for a 6.9% share.

Nine’s Perth Radio station rose 0.2 points from the fourth survey of 2023 for a 7.2% share.

6PR Breakfast with Millsy and Karl decreased 1.0 points for a 10.5% share.

The station decreased 3.2 points in the 18-24 demo for a 2.6% share but rose 6.2 points in 55-64.

6iX has dropped 0.7 points from the fourth Perth radio ratings survey of 2023. 

The station’s breakfast slot with Rob and Nat dropped by 1.5 points for a 3.4% share.  

The station did best in the 18-24 demo with a 5.9% share, rising 2.3 points.
