Perth Radio Ratings 2023, Survey 6: Nova 93.7 #1 for a sixth survey in a row

Mix 94.5 lifts, Nova drops but still on top

Nova’s Perth station maintains its spot at the top, despite a 1.9-point decrease from the 5th survey of 2023. 

For another survey, Nova’s Nathan, Nat & Shaun continue to top the Perth breakfast slot with a 20.4% share, decreasing 2.1 points from the fifth survey. Nova’s national drive program of Ricki-LeeTim and Joel came in at first with an 18.5% share, decreasing 1.9 points from the last survey. 

Across demographics, Nova has kept the #1 share in the 10-17, 18-24, 25-39 and 40-54 demos. The station rose 2.8 points in the 10-17 demographic but dropped 1.8 points in 25-39.

The third 2023 survey saw the station rise to second with a 14.4% share. The station maintains its second position rising 0 points for a 13.0% share.  

The station has enjoyed the biggest gain in the 10-17 demo, rising 2.7 points for 12%.

The station’s breakfast show, Clairsy and Lisa, decreased by 0.4 points for a share of 9.8%. The national drive show of Will and Woody decreased 0.9 points in Perth for a 14% share.

Hit Network’s Mix 94.5 maintained its third place position rising by 1.8 points with a share of 12.9%.

Mix 94.5’s breakfast lineup of Pete and KymbaMatt Dyktynski left the show last month – has increased by 2.2 points for a 12.7% share, placing second in the breakfast slot in this survey.

The national drive show of Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little rose 1.9 points for a share of 13.1%, making it third in the drive slot. The station’s top demographic was 18-24, with 21.4%, but dropped in the 10-17 demo by 4.5 points.

92.9 Triple M dropped 0.8 points, for a 6.8% share, staying fourth in stations. 

The station experienced a 1.3 decrease in the 18-24 demo to take a 4.4% share.

The breakfast team of Xav and Michelle have decreased by 1.7 points in the breakfast slot, bringing in a share of 7.4%.

In November last year, Katie Lamb joined Andrew ‘Embers’ Embley to co-host The Rush Hour with Embers and Katie. The drive show slot rose 1.3 points for an 8.2% share.

Nine’s Perth Radio station dropped 0.7 points from the fifth survey of 2023 for a 6.5% share.

6PR Breakfast with Millsy and Karl decreased by 0.2 points for a 10.3% share.

The station decreased 0.2 points in the 18-24 demo for a 2.4% share but rose 1.3 points in 10-17.

6iX has dropped 0.5 points from the fifth Perth radio ratings survey of 2023. 

The station’s breakfast slot with Rob and Nat dropped by 0.4 points for a 3% share.  

The station did best in the 65+ demo with a 10.5% share, rising 1.8 points.
