Perth Radio Ratings: Nova reaches new high, 6iX jumps up

• Mix 94.5 and 96FM take a fall

Nova's Perth station has risen 1 point, maintaining its spot at the top.

Nova continues to dominate the Perth breakfast slot with a 20% share, rising 1.6 points from last survey. Nova’s national drive program of KateTim and Joel came in at first with a 17.3% share, rising 0.5 points from survey four. 

Across demographics, Nova has kept the #1 share in the 10-17, 18-24, 25-39, and 40-54 demographic.

Hit Network’s Mix 94.5 has maintained its position at second, despite a 0.3 point fall.

Mix 94.5’s breakfast lineup of Pete, Matt and Kymba has maintained its spot at  #2, despite falling by 0.7 points.

The national drive show of Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little is also coming in second to Nova, with a drop of 0.1 points, giving them a share of 12.0%.

ARN’s 96FM started 2022 as the #1 overall station in Perth, however, the station has dropped to third in recent surveys, falling 0.4 points this survey.

The station’s breakfast show, Clairsy and Lisa, rose 0.1 points for a share of 10.0%. 96FM maintained its #1 spot amongst the 55-64 demographic with a 14.3% share, despite a drop of 2.1 points.

A rise of 0.9 points saw the Nine Radio station for a total share of 7.6%.

Breakfast with Gareth Parker has risen by 0.7 for a share of 9.3%, while Mornings with Liam Bartlett dropped 0.5 points for a 7.6% share total.

6IX’s share has risen 1.3 points to overtake Triple M's 92.9. The station had the strongest increase in the morning with a rise of 1.9 points.

The station did best in the 55-64 demo with an 11.3% share, an increase of 2.0 points in the Perth Radio Ratings.

92.9 Triple M experienced a 0.3 point drop, making it the #6 commercial network.

The breakfast team of Xav, Michelle, and Baz has risen 0.3 points, bringing in a share of 6.4%. The station has risen among the 18-24 demographic by 1.8 points for a 12.0% share.
