Screentime, a Banijay Group company, has announced the appointment of multi-award winning producer Kerrie Mainwaring as head of production – scripted.

Mainwaring has produced some of Australia’s most highly celebrated television productions including Peter Allen: Not The Boy Next Door, Catching Milat, INXS: Never Tear Us Apart as well as the highly anticipated Brock.

Previously head of production – drama for Southern Star, Mainwaring's other credits include Paper Giants: Magazine Wars, Howzat: Kerry Packer’s War, Puberty Blues and Wild Boys – as well as having line produced Paper Giants: The Birth of Cleo and Rescue Special Ops. Her earlier credits include East West 101, Spirited and the first series of Rake.

Working alongside head of drama Greg Haddrick and reporting to CEO Rory Callaghan, Mainwaring will be responsible for the management of the company’s drama slate including budgeting and reporting.

“I am delighted to be joining the team at Screentime, and to be continuing the collaboration with Rory Callaghan,” said Mainwaring.

“As momentum builds at Screentime, it's great news to have Kerrie join our drama department. Television production is all about quality people, and Kerrie is top shelf. With her coming on board to work with Greg Haddrick and Peter Gawler, Screentime Drama is in for exciting times,” said Callaghan.

Screentime projects in 2016 include Janet King on ABC, Wolf Creek for Stan and The Secret Daughter for Seven.
