Publicis Sapient has revealed its Agentic Retail Network (ARN), a new solution designed to help retailers cut through “AI pilot fatigue” and connect fragmented automation efforts.

The goal? To bring some real-world cohesion to how artificial intelligence operates across retail, from supply chain and merchandising to in-store operations and customer experience.

Redefining Retail Through Agentic AI

Built on Publicis Sapient’s ‘Bodhi’ platform, the Agentic Retail Network introduces a more connected approach to AI in retail. Instead of relying on one-off experiments, the system embraces a network of AI agents that can sense, decide, act, and learn in real time.

In practice, that means retailers can move from isolated pilots to smarter, coordinated systems that inform decisions, reduce operational costs, and improve the customer experience.

Angela Robinson, Country Managing Director at Publicis Sapient Australia, said the timing of the launch reflects how quickly retail businesses are trying to get serious about AI integration.

“There are retailers across Australia embracing AI-driven solutions, from personalised recommendations to automated after-sales care.”

“Our Agentic Retail Network helps bridge the gap between traditional, isolated AI applications and more collaborative, agentic networks.
