fiveaa

• Fiveaa still on the move – David and Will grow breakfast lead
• Mix 102.3 still rules: #1 10+ with share holding above 15%
• Will & Woody hold top spot in drive – steady on 14.6% share

• Biggest rise: Fiveaa +1.3
• Biggest fall: Nova 91.9 -0.6

Mix 102.3 15.1%

The 10th consecutive #1 survey for the ARN station. Jodie and Soda rank #1 FM, but #2 overall behind Fiveaa. It seems unfair Brisbane, Perth or Adelaide shows aren’t rewarded for their work when ACRA nominees are revealed, with all places going to Sydney or Melbourne-based programs. The station peaks on a share of 18.5% in afternoon with Michelle Murphy and then the 3pm Pick-Up.

Fiveaa 13.1%

Share jumped 1.3 this survey which is the best result in over two years. David and Will in breakfast were up 0.2 to 14.6%, which is their best result this year and their second successive #1. All other dayparts lifted too: Leon Byner up 1.3 to 15.2% in morning, Alan Hickey up 0.9 to 9.0% in afternoon, Rowey and Bicks up 2.4 to 12.2% in drive and Jeremy Cordeaux up 1.4 to 15.7% in evening. The station’s share 55-64 grew 3.7 to 16.4%. 65+ share was down 2.1 to 26.7%.

Nova 91.9 9.9%

The station eased a little this survey but still recorded its second-highest result this year. Lewis and Lowe with Hayley Pearson did 9.3% in breakfast, down 0.7. Kate, Tim and Marty have the station’s best share and they rank #2 drive on 13.6%.

5MMM 9.8%

Good results earlier in the day with Roo and Ditts seeing breakfast share lift 0.5 to 10.8%. Morning was also up to 10.8% while afternoon, drive and evening all dipped.

Hit 107 9.0%

Share lifted 0.7 this survey for the second-best result this year. The outgoing Amos, Cat & Angus breakfast show lifted 0.8 to 7.5%, which sees it still ranking below the other FM competition.
