• 3AW market’s biggest mover with all timeslots powering
• smoothfm win gives Nova Ent FM lock on major markets
• Here comes Christian O’Connell: Gold equal #2, breakfast lifts
• Drive: Hughesy & Kate further ahead at Fox, Kennedy Molloy up

 3AW 14.5%

This survey covered the end of the AFL season and it has been good for the station. Breakfast with Ross and John was up 1.4 to 19.8% with all programs reporting growth with the exception of afternoon where Denis Walter was steady on 10.8%.

smoothfm 91.5 9.8%

Another survey at #1 FM for the station means Nova Entertainment is the place to go to buy airtime on the market-leading music stations in the two biggest radio markets. All timeslots hardly moved with breakfast with Mike Perso and Jennifer Hansen steady just over 8%.

101.9 Fox FM 9.5%

Fifi, Fev and Byron remain the #1 FM breakfast show, with share dipping 0.6 to 9.0%. Best result here was afternoon up 1.0 to 11.5% – a timeslot which includes most of the Carrie and Tommy early drive show. Hughesy and Kate remain #1 drive with share up 0.5 to 11.0%.

Gold 104.3 9.5%

Just when it might have been getting tough for Christian O’Connell his numbers have taken off. Breakfast share at Gold was up 1.2 to 7.9% making it the #3 FM breakfast show in the market.

105.1 Triple M 7.1%

Small recovery here too with share up in morning, afternoon and drive. The Hot Breakfast with Eddie, Luke and Wil was steady on 7.7%.

Nova 100 6.7%

Not a lot separates the top FM breakfast shows, but Chrissie, Sam and Browny could cut through the pack with a small increase. Morning remains a troublespot.
