Brisbane Radio Ratings 2022, Survey 4: Nova #1, huge surge for 4BH

Nova has remained in the top spot, lifting 0.4 points for a 10+ share of 13%. Another 43,000 addition in cume means that Nova 106.9 has risen a total of 175,000 since the beginning of the year.

The breakfast team of Ash, Luttsy & Susie O’Neill have kept their title as #1 breakfast show, coming in at 14.4% – a lift of 1.3 points. Nova continues to dominate the drive slot with the national team of Kate, Tim and Joel despite a drop of 0.5 points. The show’s total share now sits at 15.2%, taking the title of #1 overall drive. Nova has remained #1 in the 10-17, and picked up #1 in 40-54.

A lift of 1.1 points has seen B105 land at 12.2%, coming in at second overall in the Brisbane market.

The station’s breakfast show of Stav, Abby and Matt has broken away from its previous tie with Triple M breakfast, lifting 1 point for a share of 13% – although the show is still coming second to Nova.

In drive, Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little have lifted to #2 in their daypart with a rise of 1.8 points and a share of 13.7%. The station has remained #1 in 25-39 and picked up #1 in 18-24.

This survey saw KIIS drop 0.8 points, sliding to third station overall with a share of 10.8%. In breakfast,  Robin, Terry & Kip have dipped a little, down 0.3 points for a 9.6% share. In drive, Will and Woody have dropped 1.5 points for a total of 10.5%, returning to #3 drive show in the market.

Triple M Brisbane has dropped 1.2 points. The Big Breakfast with Marto, Margaux, and newcomer Dan Anstey has fallen to #3 spot in the daypart after losing 1.5 points. The drive show, The Rush Hour with Liesel, Liam & Dobbo is down 0.7 points to 10.3%. 

4BC 7.7% (6.3%)

Since the last survey results were released, there has been a major shake up in the 4BC lineup. The results have paid off, with the station up 1.4 points for a total share of 7.7%.

Having come over to the Nine station from the now defunct 4KQ brand, breakfast with Laurel, Gary & Mark has lifted 2.1 points for a stare of 10.1% – #4 overall in the daypart. Previous breakfast host Neil Breen has moved to the drive slot, where he’s up 0.6 points. 

4BH 4.6% (1.3%)

The all-music format is up a huge 3.3 points to 4.6%, its highest share ever since rebranding from Macquarie Sports Radio in 2020.
