Brisbane Radio Ratings 2024, Survey 1: B105 and Triple M take top spots for SCA

B105 13.8% (11.7%)

Ending 2023 in third, B105 has broken away to top the market after a lift of 2.1 points for a share of 13.8%. This is the station’s highest share in almost a decade.

A lift of 3.4 points for the breakfast show of Stav, Abby and Matt sees the trio jump from third to first in the daypart with a 15.9% share.

In Drive, Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little have lifted 2.7 points for a share of 15.0% – first in the daypart.

Staying almost steady with a slight dip of 0.1 points, Triple M has recorded a 13.2% share.

The Big Breakfast with Margaux, Marto, and Dan Anstey was up 0.8 points to record a total share of 13.6%. The drive show, The Rush Hour with Liesel, Liam & Dobbo was down 0.8 points for a 13.2% share.

A dip of 1.3 points has seen Nova slip to third in the market with an 11.4% share.

The breakfast team of Ash, Luttsy and Susie O’Neill have gone from top breakfast to third with a dip of 1.7 points, bringing them to a share of 12.4%. Whilst it seems like a significant slide, it’s likely more of a correction after a big spike in survey eight resulted in the show’s best result since survey six of 2022.

The drive slot has dipped 3.1 points with the national team of Ricki-Lee, Tim and Joel finishing with 14.2%.

Leapfrogging KIIS, 4BH is up a point for a 10+ share of 9.1%. In this survey, breakfast with Bob Gallagher is up 0.3 points for an 8.0% share.

The station has lost its top spot in the 65+ demo to 4BC this survey, but claimed the win in the 55-64 demo where it has a 21.7% share.

Dipping 1.8 points, KIIS has recorded a share of 8.2%. 

In breakfast,  Robin, Terry and Kip have dipped 1.3 points to record an 9.7% share. In drive, Will and Woody have dipped 1.4 points for a total of 7.8%.

4BC has dipped 0.1 points in this survey for a share of 6.5%. Breakfast with Laurel, Gary and Mark has lifted 1.1 points for a share of 7.5%.

In Mornings, Bill McDonald’s third survey in the slot recorded a share of 8.7%, up 1.8 points. 

In Drive, Peter Gleeson’s show is down 1.8 points for a 4.0% share.

Survey one has seen SENQ lift 0.2 points for a 0.5% share. Cume has lifted 9,000, up to 37,000. Breakfast with Pat and Heals is up 0.7 points for a share of 0.9%.
