96FM joins the KIIS FM network

There was a celebration in Perth last night for Australian Radio Network’s newly branded 96FM, to officially mark the station joining the national KIIS FM Network.

Special guests included Perth’s local 96FM breakfast presenters Carmen Braidwood and Brad "Fitzi" Fitzgerald and national drive hosts Dave "Hughesy" Hughes and Kate Langbroek with a special performance by Reigan Derry, finalist from the 2014 series of The X Factor.

Hughesy and Kate remain in Perth on Friday broadcasting their drive show from the 96FM studios, with Hughesy then performing two comedy shows at Crown Theatre on Saturday evening before he and Kate appear on the midnight shift for Perth’s 7 Telethon.

ARN guests included a mix of 96FM clients, Perth media and the local 96FM staff, as well as the ARN executives from Sydney.
