Al Shield joins Triple M 105.7 as new breakfast host

Triple M 105.7 has announced Al Shield will join Luisa ‘Lu’ Pelizzari for the breakfast shift across the Albury Wodonga region of Victoria from Tuesday, March 15.

With over 23 years of radio experience, Al Shield will step into the breakfast studio permanently, from his most recent radio gig of broadcasting to regional Triple M listeners each afternoon across Eastern Australia.

“I am so excited to get back into the thrill of a fun breakfast show and working with Lu, just as excited as my kids are – they can’t wait to hear dad on the radio on the ride to school,” Shield said.

SCA Regional Victoria Content Director, Mal Lewis, said, “I’m super pumped to hear what Lu and Al will bring to breakfast radio on The Border’s 105.7 Triple M, together they are two great radio talents who love living here, and love to have a laugh.”’

From writing and producing radio commercials, Al found his love behind the microphone after filling in for breakfast shifts and interviewing some of the globe’s greatest music acts.

He will be joining co-host Luisa ‘Lu’ Pelizzari, who for over eight years, has been the voice of Triple M Breakfast across Albury and Wodonga.

The duo will continue to inform and entertain while bringing the best of community, music, comedy, and sport to listeners across the region every morning.
