Stav, Abby and Matt pushed share higher to 11.8% to be #1 Brisbane breakfast. Also up was drive and evening. The station grew its lead 25-39, but saw listening mysteriously drop 18-24.

Nova 106.9 10.4% (11.1%)

2019 results: Best/worst
Best 10+ 12.9% (10.4%)
Best breakfast 12.9% (10.1%)

The station is well short of its best with breakfast on 10.2% for a show more familiar with 12% shares across the past two years and 14% for the year before that. Nova still ranks #1 in cume in Brisbane, despite a 27,000 drop this survey. Kate, Tim and Marty maintain their place as the market’s #1 drive show, well ahead of Hit 105 in second spot.

4KQ 7.9% (8.3%)

Cume 256,000 (+19,000)
2019 results: Best/worst
Best 10+ 10.5% (7.9%)
Best breakfast 10.5% (8.2%)

The small drop in share can be traced to breakfast where the show drifted from 8.7% to 7.2%. To offset that dip, morning and afternoon were both up. Cume climbed above 250,000.

4BC 7.6% (6.7%)

Cume 157,000 (+1,000)

Alan Jones is on a new high with share up 1.3 to 9.7%, while Ray Hadley lifted 1.5 to 10.0%. Drive and evening however were both lower, 0.2 and 0.8 respectively. The station has overtaken 4KQ as #1 65+ with a share of 18.4%.

First survey results for new music format see share steady across the day while, not surprisingly, most of the listening is 55+.
