Nova Entertainment has announced that Chrissie Swan will host her own national radio show next year. The Chrissie Swan Show will launch in January 2023.

After 20 years on breakfast radio and with her TV career taking on new heights this year, Chrissie Swan will take on a new challenge in 2023 that will see her host her own national radio show, weekdays from 2pm to 4pm.

Peter Charlton, Nova Entertainment CEO said, “Chrissie Swan is a highly respected broadcaster and one of Australia’s most loved personalities. Her engaging and down to earth style has seen her connect with listeners over her impressive radio career, the last seven years of which were part of Nova 100’s award-winning breakfast show. The 2pm to 4pm timeslot is important to both listeners and advertisers, with a highly engaged audience often on the school run. Chrissie has really broad appeal and we can’t wait to share her charismatic broadcasting style with a national audience in this marquee day part.”

Swan said, “It was a dream come true to be part of Nova's Melbourne breakfast show and to connect with our listeners. I’ve achieved so much professionally and personally over the past seven years, and I’m thrilled to take on this new opportunity to embrace a new audience right across the country in this brand-new time slot.”

Swan has been part of a number of successful radio and television shows. During her time with Nova 100’s Chrissie, Sam & Browny, the show was # 1 FM or # 2 FM for 19 surveys since launch. Since appearing as a contestant on Australia’s first Big Brother series in 2003 and the third series of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!, Swan has continued to endear herself to audiences. Earning a silver Logie during her time on The Circle, this year Swan was host of Would I Lie To You, a regular on The Project and most recently appeared as a judge on The Masked Singer.
