The latest Roy Morgan Australian Magazine Readership Report has revealed Rolling Stone Australia’s average issue readership is up 17.3% to 224,000, for the 12 months to December 2022.

According to the report, 11.3 million Australians aged 14+ (52.8%) read print magazines, up 1.7% on a year ago. Print readership increased for 12 magazine categories compared to a year ago, including Food & Entertainment, Home & Garden, Health & Family, Women’s Fashion & Lifestyle and more

It’s the fourth consecutive quarter of double-digit growth for the local edition of Rolling Stone.

Poppy Reid, The Brag Media’s editor-in-chief, said,  “The Brag Media is thrilled to see our print music title grow and grow in Australia. Our first Rolling Stone AU/NZ print offering hit shelves two months after the pandemic hit, so to see this double-digit growth for the fourth consecutive quarter is nothing short of amazing.

“We’ve been so lucky to bring longform journalism to local readers - even our recent issues have broken new ground. Our current collector’s edition of the Most Iconic Music Moments has been dubbed a coffee table book, and our Sep-Nov issue featuring cover stars The Wiggles made headline news, making it a global moment.

"We look forward to continuing to do things differently with each issue and I can’t wait to see what readers think of our next cover reveal,” Reid added.
