Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) has launched a new weekly basketball program, Straight Shooter, hosted by professional basketballer Dejan “DJ” Vasiljevic and broadcaster Josh Jenkins.

The show premiered today, Friday August 15, and will air weekly from 10.30am to 11.30am on SEN SA 1629am. It is also available via DAB+, online stream, and the SEN app.

Straight Shooter will cover National Basketball League (NBL) news, behind-the-scenes insights, and expert analysis, presented by two figures deeply embedded in the sport. The program is proudly sponsored by Ford.

Vasiljevic, who currently plays for the Adelaide 36ers, brings firsthand NBL experience to the mic. He is joined by Jenkins, a former AFL player turned SEN sports commentator, known for his candid takes and strong sporting knowledge.

Sam Thompson, SEN’s Group Radio Director, said the new show reflects the network’s growing investment in basketball content.

“It’s pretty clear that SEN is all in when it comes to basketball. It’s a sport that is booming in Australia, and Straight Shooter is our way of celebrating that growth with two incredible talents who live and breathe the game,” Thompson said.

“DJ and Josh bring authenticity, insight, and a genuine love for sport that will resonate with fans across South Australia and beyond.”
