The countdown is on for Home and Away’s 2025 season finale, with Seven and 7plus teasing one of the most shocking disasters in the soap’s 38-year history.

In the final week of the year, several Summer Bay residents will board a party train headed for Off the Rails - a three-day music festival in Broken Hill.

Musicians Remi (Adam Rowland) and Sonny (Ryan Bown) are set to perform alongside their newest signing, Eddie Shepherd (Stephen Madsen).

Inside the train, spirits are high, music is pumping and celebrations are in full swing - including a surprise proposal.

But as laughter and music fill the carriage, the festivalgoers remain unaware that they’re on a collision course with disaster.

Happy train

What follows is a deadly derailment that will plunge the passengers into chaos.
