As the year draws to a close, Seven has taken the opportunity to remind the market that Seven West Media combined with Yahoo7 is the number one Australian digital content publisher.

A statement from the group yesterday noted:

Building on its market-leading performance across broadcast television and publishing, Seven West Media and Yahoo7 is the number one media digital content publisher in Australia for the third consecutive month with a unique monthly audience of 11.57 million.

• Seven West Media combined with Yahoo7 (11.57m) outperforms Fairfax (10.73m) and News Australia (10.50m), ABC (7.69m), Nine Entertainment (5.37m) and Bauer Media (2.66m), SBS (2.53m) and Ten Network (2.20m) in unique monthly audience in October.

• Yahoo7 News Websites including 7 News and The West online deliver a monthly unique audience of 2.83m, a 14% in unique audience vs September 2016.

•PLUS7 is number one in broadcast catch-up apps, with a monthly unique audience of 1.14m (up 25% on September 2016) – and outpacing ABC iview (0.89m), 9Now (0.81m) and tenplay (0.62m).
