Seven has released the premiere date for its reality dating format Seven Year Switch.

The second season of the series will hit the screen on 17 April with four new couples. The show seeks to save each couple’s relationship via a social experiment. Relationship experts Jo Lamble and Peter Charleston will guide the couples through the therapy process as they adjust to living with an experimental partner.

Nine’s upcoming series The Last Resort will be direct competition for the Seven Year Switch when it airs after Easter (read the new issue of Mediaweek magazine for more on Nine’s new series).

About 6.5 million people watched the first season of the Australian version of Seven Year Switch when it aired in 2016.

Meet the couples participating in season two of Seven's Seven Year Switch below.
