Sky News ANZAC Day coverage to start live at 4:30am

Sky News is commemorating Anzac Day this Sunday from 4:30am AEST, bringing viewers comprehensive coverage of all the major services.

Join Sky News Weekend Edition anchors Tim Gilbert and Jaynie Seal from 4:30am for the Sydney Dawn Service live from Martin Place followed by the National Commemorative Service at the War Memorial in Canberra at 5:30am.

From 6:00am a special Weekend Edition: Anzac Day Live program will broadcast with all the news and sports of the day and continued coverage of Anzac Day, live from Sky News reporters across the country in Canberra, Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.

From 10:30am Sky News will have live coverage of the National Anzac Day Ceremony from the Australian War Memorial in Canberra.

Following the ceremony at 12:00pm, Weekend Live returns viewers to regular news programming with a focus on Anzac Day as reporters and guests continue to highlight the ways in which communities across the country are honouring our national war heroes.

In 2020, Sky News recorded record audience growth across all hours and all days.

The 2020 audience growth was:

• All Day (2am – 2am) up a record +43%; reaching 4 million unique viewers
• Morning (9am-12pm) up a record +73%; reaching 2 million unique viewers
• Daytime (9am-5pm) up a record +69%; reaching 3.3 million unique viewers
• Primetime (6pm-10pm) up a record +36%; reaching 2.9 million unique viewers
• Breakfast Weekdays (5am-9am) up +21%, reaching 1.2 million unique viewers
