History will be made at Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) during Wednesday morning’s Socceroos v France match at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

The match, airing from 5.50am, will be the first sporting event to be broadcast live across all 40 SEN radio and digital stations throughout Australia, including all SENTrack stations.

SEN’s FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 broadcast will be headlined by media presenter Jordan Kounelis and Socceroos legend, Archie Thompson.

Along with Thompson and Kounelis, the Sports Entertainment Network audience will be guided through each moment of the 64-match, 29-day tournament by industry veterans Simon Hill and Dan McHardy. In addition, Richard Garcia, Adam Kwasnik, Rodrigo Vargas, Clint Bolton, and David Chote will provide all the insights and analysis from the player's perspective.

Sports Entertainment Network CEO Craig Hutchison said broadcasting the match across every station reinforced SEN as a major destination for live sport as the Socceroos attempt to upset France.

“The World Cup is one of those events that captivates the entire nation, and it made sense for us to dedicate the entire SEN network to this match. No matter where you are throughout Australia, you can cheer on the Socceroos with SEN and enjoy every moment of the action live,” Hutchison said.
