Buying Bryon

Ultra-competitive, highly focused real estate agents are working to sell the sexiest real estate on earth in Buying Byron, a new series coming to the Nine Network in 2022.

Everyone is trying to get a piece of the Byron Bay pie. It’s where Hollywood A-listers are living the dream and Instagram influencers are flocking to in droves.

Viewers will get a glimpse into Australia’s most prestigious playground, where the spectacular beaches and seaside glamour set the scene for all the action. There will be beachside deals, tussles for premier property listings, and feuds over negotiations as these agents work to secure a piece of paradise for their prestige clients.

Buying Byron hits screens after the series Luxe Listings Sydney which premiered in July, 2021. Amazon Prime Video’s latest Australian Original took the global streaming platform into the heady world of prestige property on the shores of Sydney Harbour.

The series stars three Sydney prestige property specialists – agents Gavin Rubinstein and D’Leanne Lewis and buyer’s agent Simon Cohen.

Luxe Listings Sydney is made for Amazon Prime by Eureka Productions and executive produced by Chris Culvenor, Paul Franklin, Rikkie Proost and Sophia Mogford.

CJ Yu, head of unscripted development, global formats at Amazon Studios, told Mediaweek:

“Docu-reality series are definitely having a resurgence worldwide. In recent years you have seen Real Housewives take off in different cities around the world. There are real estate shows Million Dollar Listing New York and LA and Selling Sunset.

“These types of shows are offering something unique for customers because they show a world that most people aren’t a part of.”

Buying Byron is produced by EQ Media Group for the Nine Network.
