Foxtel Business has signed an exclusive partnership with beIN SPORTS, bringing premium global football and tennis back to licensed venues across Australia.

The deal sees Foxtel Business become the exclusive distributor of beIN SPORTS’ three linear channels in pubs and clubs, marking the return of key competitions after a six-month absence.

Major leagues return

The agreement brings competitions, including LALIGA, Serie A, Bundesliga, the EFL and the Carabao Cup, back to venues nationwide, alongside ATP and WTA tennis, the Davis Cup and the Billie Jean King Cup.

The addition strengthens Foxtel Business’s sports offering, which already includes Fox Sports and ESPN content spanning AFL, NRL, Formula 1, Supercars, cricket, golf, netball, NBL, NBA, MLB and NFL, as well as pay-per-view events.

Easy rollout for venues

Steve O’Connor, Managing Director of Retail, Wholesale and Commercial at Foxtel Group, said the partnership is designed to simplify access for venue operators.

“Foxtel Business customers can now choose to add beIN SPORTS to their account without the need for any costly additional equipment or disruptive set-up,” O’Connor said.

“Nothing draws crowds to venues like live sport, and nothing could be easier than bringing in even more patrons by adding beIN SPORTS through ready-installed FOXTEL Business equipment.”

Reconnecting fans

John Armitage, Country Manager at beIN SPORTS, said the deal will reconnect Australian audiences with major global competitions.

“We are delighted to bring beIN SPORTS back into Australia’s pubs and clubs through Foxtel Business, whose extensive national reach and deep experience across licensed venues make them the ideal partner.”

Strengthening commercial footprint

The partnership reflects Foxtel Group’s continued investment in its commercial division, positioning Foxtel Business as a year-round sport and entertainment solution for venues.

Foxtel Business is currently available in more than 4,000 pubs and clubs nationwide, with the expanded sports offering expected to drive increased foot traffic and engagement.
