Prime Video reveals first look at Sophie Turner as Lara Croft

Amazon MGM Studios confirms production has begun on the new series.

Wondering when Prime Video’s Tomb Raider series starts filming, and what Sophie Turner looks like as Lara Croft? Amazon MGM Studios says production is now underway, and has shared a first-look image of Turner in character.

The announcement was made today, on Friday, January 16, with the studio marking the start of production on the new Prime Video series.

What is the Prime Video Tomb Raider series?

The series is based on the Tomb Raider video game franchise, which follows archaeologist and adventurer Lara Croft.

Sophie Turner leads the cast as Croft, with Amazon MGM Studios confirming a lineup that includes Sigourney Weaver and Jason Isaacs.
