Caitlyn Jenner series "I Am Cait" from Bunim/Murray to launch on E! in last week of July
E! has announced the series title I Am Cait for the new documentary series with Caitlyn Jenner, formerly Bruce Jenner, living her life as a transgender woman. The series will tell her intimate story and will join Cait as she seeks out her “new normal".
Cait is now living for the first time as the person she feels she was born to be, and the docu-series will explore what her transition means for the people in her life and how those relationships are affected, while offering a better understanding of many of life’s challenges.
The eight-part, one-hour series will premiere Sunday, July 26 at 9:00pm on E! and will also air on E! channels internationally in over 120 countries. I Am Cait is produced by Bunim/Murray Productions, a Banijay Group Company.
ESPN this week announced that Jenner will be presented with the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at The 2015 ESPYS Presented by Capital One. Presented annually to individuals whose contributions transcend sports, the Arthur Ashe Courage Award is the pinnacle of the sports celebration, which will be televised live on Thursday, July 16 on ESPN from Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
