Fetch TV reveals renewed long-term channel distribution agreement with NBCUniversal

Four-channel deal includes continuing access to Universal TV, Oxygen, CNBC and MSNBC

Fetch TV and NBCUniversal International Networks & Direct-to-Consumer have renewed their long-term channel partnership. The agreement ensures continuing access to drama, true crime and news programming for the entertainment platform.

The deal is the latest from NBCUniversal after a busy year has also seen the broadcaster unveil agreements with Seven West Media and Foxtel.

The four-channel renewal includes NBCUniversal’s brand Universal TV delivering character-filled drama; the Oxygen true crime channel; CNBC, the global business news channel; and MSNBC, with breaking news and political analysis from the US.

Sam Hall, chief content and commercial officer of Fetch TV said: “We are delighted to continue our valued partnership with NBCUniversal, delivering much-loved content to Australian audiences.”

The renewed channel carriage agreement will see Fetch subscribers continuing to have access to tentpole content including Law & Order: SVU and Chicago franchises on Universal TV, Snapped and Buried in the Backyard on Oxygen, Squawk On The Street and Squawk Box on CNBC, and Morning Joe, Alex Wagner Tonight and The 11th Hour with Stephanie Ruhle on MSNBC.

How to watch NBCU channels on Fetch

Fetch continues to offer channel packs, with all four NBCUniversal channels available in the 43 channel Fetch Ultimate pack for $20 per month. The channels will also be included in the $6 pm Skinny Packs.
