Sky News Australia will bring together different voices to debate the question – should an Indigenous Voice to Parliament be enshrined in the Australian constitution?

The Voice Debate will air on Sunday, September 4 at 9 pm AEST on Sky News Australia on Foxtel.

Hosted by Chris KennyThe Voice Debate will explore the arguments both for and against a Voice to Parliament, as Australia prepares to decide in a national referendum.

Under the proposal, a constitutionally enshrined Voice to Parliament would be a permanent body representing Aboriginal and Torres Strait peoples that would advise the government on policies relating to Indigenous issues.

Supporting The Voice is Marion Scrymgour MP, and From the Heart director Dean Parkin.

Opposing The Voice is senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price and Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

Kenny said of the upcoming debate: "Some say a Voice will divide the nation along racial lines, others argue it is central for reconciliation.
