Stan confirms season three of RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under in 2023

Stan has confirmed its Original Series RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under is returning for season three in 2023. 

The Stan Original Series will be back after two smash-hit seasons with the mother of all drag queens RuPaul once again heading Down Under to host.

The announcement comes hot off the high heels of Spankie Jackzon being crowned the newest Down Under Drag Race Superstar in the second instalment of the local version of the global franchise, which was recently nominated for Best Entertainment Program in the 2022 AACTA (Australian Academy of Cinema Television Arts) Awards taking place in Sydney this December.  

Casting for Season three closed last week so now it will be up to a new line-up of the fiercest drag queens from Australia and New Zealand to battle it out on the runway to snatch the crown in 2023.

Season two winner, Spankie Jackzon

"Aussies love seeing our exceptional homegrown talent in what’s known as the ‘Olympics of Drag’ and we can’t wait to see all the incredible new queens that will soon sashay on to our screens.”   The Stan Original Series RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under is a World of Wonder production in collaboration with Warner Bros. International Production New Zealand for Stan and TVNZ. Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato, Tom Campbell and RuPaul Charles serve as executive producers.   Passion Distribution will distribute the series globally in line with Passion Distribution and WOW’s distribution strategy.
