The Great British Bake Off

The much-loved series of The Great British Bake Off returns for its 12th season, Tuesdays at 7.30pm on Foxtel. Watch on LifeStyle Food and On Demand.

Quick witted comedians Matt Lucas and Noel Fielding return to host the multi-award-winning show alongside judges, UK’s leading artisan baker Paul Hollywood, restauranteur, and food writer Prue Leith and the all-important twelve amateur bakers.

This is the ultimate baking battle, where passionate amateurs compete to be crowned Britain’s best. In every episode, judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith set new challenges to test a different baking skill across the Signature, Technical and Showstopper bakes which push the competitors to the limits of their baking ability.

Over the course of 10 episodes, the series follows the trials and tribulations of the competitors, young and old, from every background and every corner of Britain, as they attempt to prove their baking prowess. Each week the bakers tackle a different baking skill, which become progressively more difficult as the competition unfolds.

Paul Hollywood said: “I feel this series the standard of bakers is so strong, they really brought a lot of expertise to the tent this year, I was really shocked and excited to see how quick they were out of the box.

“It’s about their precision and how much they know, their baking prowess. When I first saw them in the tent, I thought we are in for a good one this year – they were all impressive right from the start. They produced some rich and complex bakes. I have to say we have got stunning Showstoppers this year.”

The Great British Bake Off premieres from Tuesdays at 7.30pm from November 16, followed by The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice hosted by Jo Brand at 8.30pm and The Chocolate Queen at 9.30pm all on Foxtel. Watch on LifeStyle Food and On Demand.
