The Stig to feature in new BBC show to be hosted by Dermot O’Leary

BBC One in the UK has today announced a brand new commission that will see couples go head to head in an action-packed competition where only the best get to face the legend that is The Stig.

Presented by Dermot O’Leary (left), the Saturday night entertainment show, The Getaway Car, will see couples compete in a series of driving challenges that test the limits of their relationships behind the wheel of a car.

BBC Worldwide is the global distributor and holds the format rights for The Getaway Car which will broadcast in 2016.

The Getaway Car (12 x 60’) is a BBC in-house production.
