TV Ratings November 9, 2021: 10 barking up the right tree with Dog House Australia

• Nine #1 primary by splits the spoils with Seven for #1 network

Total TV Ratings for November 2 2021

The Melbourne Cup was the top non-news program in the total TV ratings with 10 reporting 1.88m viewers with a 177,000 BVOD audience, this was up 11% on overnights.

Home and Away was the top non-news program on Seven with 1.087m viewers, while Parental Guidance was the top show on Nine with 1.027m which was 31% on its overnight viewership.

Dog House Australia was the top program on 10 with 886,000 viewers, up 11%.

Nine continues to rack up the wins in the later stages of the TV ratings survey, once again logging the #1 primary channel share (20.2%) and network share (28.0%), the latter of which is shared with Seven.

Parental Guidance was once again the top non-news program of the evening for Nine with 520,000 viewers tuning in. The show once again had several of the teams of parents take on numerous challenges while being judged by the non-participating parents.

A repeat of Travel Guides took 434,000 viewers to Sri Lanka before Love Island Australia came on at 9:40pm bringing in 186,000 late-night viewers to the villa.

Seven

Home and Away was the top non-news program for Seven last night with 548,000 viewers. The Aussie soap was then followed by Big Brother VIP with 548,000 viewers as BB legend Danny Hayes was sent home after not being able to create the success he had earlier this year in the regular format.

Two episodes of Curse of the Chippendales then had 190,000 and 144,000 viewers.

The strong performance of Seven's multi channels namely 7TWO helped the broadcaster to have the equal #1 network share with 28.0%.

The Project had 260,000 (6:30pm) and 429,000 (7:00pm) as the show covered Scott Morrison's pivot on electric cars.

Dog House Australia had 575,000 viewers as Lilly the pug, Keira the kelpie, and Ash the mini Aussie shepherd all looked for their furever home. The episode was the top non-news program of the evening, and the highest rating episode of the show's season, beating last week's 566,000.

The Cheap Seats then had 391,000 viewers.

ABC

The Greek Islands with Julia Bradbury took 302,000 viewers and her mother to the island of Chios, to explore her family heritage.

Justine Clarke then continued her road trip on Going Country, and was joined by 247,000 viewers.

SBS

The top program on SBS last night was a repeat of Great American Railway Journeys with 195,000 viewers.
