CBS’s US premiere of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert averaged 6.6 million viewers, and was Tuesday’s most-watched late night program in viewers and key demographics, according to Nielsen live plus same-day fast national ratings for September 8.

The Late Show delivered its largest Tuesday audience, excluding David Letterman's final week, since July 25, 1995, its biggest adult 25-54 delivery since February 9, 2010, its largest adult 18-49 demographic since January 27, 2009 and its highest adults 18-34 numbers since Sept. 4, 2007.

In Australia, The Late Show was screened on ELEVEN.
