The Australian Women's Weekly hits the road with columnist Amanda Blair

Flagship Bauer title The Australian Women’s Weekly is hitting the road for its annual High Tea Tour throughout major Australian metro centres. Hosted by The Weekly’s Amanda Blair, the decadent yearly event invites readers of the monthly title to come along and have an up close and personal experience with The AWW’s staff. As well as triple tested treats from The Weekly’s test kitchen, readers will also take home a gift bag worth $150. Kicking off in Perth on August 11, the High Tea tour continues across Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane and Adelaide until the end of the month.
Following the High Tea tour, the Australian Women’s Weekly and major partner Qantas gear up to present the 2015 Women Of The Future Awards. Young women aged 18-28 with business, creative or charity ventures to improve the lives of Australians are invited to apply to win one of eight scholarships or a $10,000 Qantas travel bursary. Foreign affairs minister Julie Bishop, athlete Turia Pitt, Qantas’ Olivia Wirth, 7:30’s Leigh Sales, Today’s Lisa Wilkinson, advocates Denise Morcombe and Chloe Shorten and model Jesinta Campbell will judge applications.
