The Voice Australia is heading into its Grand Finale with a historic twist: an all-female lineup for the first time in the show’s history.

After a dramatic Semi-Final that saw emotional performances from Team Kate and Team Ronan, Alyssa Delpopolo (Team Kate) and Cle Morgan (Team Ronan) secured the final two spots alongside Cassie Henderson (Team Melanie C) and Bella Parnell (Team Richard). The Grand Finale airs 7:00pm next Sunday, 2 November, on Seven and 7plus.

Cle and Alyssa round out the finalists

Ronan Keating faced a tough call between Cle and Ellaphon Ta after both delivered standout performances. Cle advanced with a powerful take on Counting Crows’ Round Here, which Keating described as “next level.”

“They both gave me an equal performance. Everything I asked of both my artists, they gave me,” said Ronan Keating. “Me being me, I went and chose two artists that are emotional performers. I wear my heart on my sleeve when I perform – that’s what exactly these two artists do.”

A stunned Cle said after the result: “It’s bittersweet. I’m feeling really proud.”

Meanwhile, Alyssa earned her Grand Finale place with a commanding rendition of Raye’s Oscar Winning Tears, triumphing over Sienna Langenheim’s version of Fleetwood Mac’s Go Your Own Way. Originally discovered in the audience and later convinced by Kate Ritchie to switch teams, Alyssa’s journey has been one of the season’s most talked-about storylines.

“Alyssa has a gift,” said Kate Ritchie. “She’s outrageously good at singing, but she’s also learned how to tell a story and connect with people — and that’s what makes her special.”

An emotional Alyssa added: “It doesn’t feel real. I’m so grateful to be here right now. I want to thank Kate for giving me a second chance.”

The Voice Australia Grand Finale airs 7:00pm Sunday, 2 November on Seven and 7plus.
