Horror fans are being very well catered for by the online streaming services this week in the lead-up to halloween. SBS On Demand have a number of modern classics, with Scream and Cabin Fever now streaming, alongside the genre-defining 1978 film Halloween. Not to be outdone, Presto are serving up the three From Dusk Till Dawn films and the fifth season of The Walking Dead.

Fans of Kung-Fu films should be very happy with more Shaw Bros catalogue titles added to Netflix this week. Netflix also have a winner with the first season of the Batman-inspired series Gotham on the air. The show is quietly building a very loyal fan following and is certainly a show to keep an eye on.

The amazing Paul Thomas Anderson film There Will Be Blood is available on SBS On Demand. If you're a fan of darker 70's-style cinema, this is a must watch.
