Top 25 Media People in 2015: Mastermind behind Nine's 2015 NRL deal, Amanda Laing

With the start of the new year, we take a look back at the top 25 media personalities who stood out in the Australian media landscape in 2015.
AMANDA LAING
Managing Director, Nine Entertainment Co
If there was an internal staff favourite to replace the departing CEO David Gyngell it would have been the former ACP Magazines general counsel who has risen through the ranks to be one of NEC’s most crucial contributors in recent times. Laing has helped generate some serious cash for the business via the sale of ACP to Bauer and the sale of the Nine Live and Ticketek business. She’s also helped spend a bit too with money flowing the other way for new cricket and NRL deals plus the acquisition of the WIN Nine stations in Adelaide and Perth.
