triple j's Hottest 100 announces dates, details, and new charity partner
• The music countdown will now be partnering with Lifeline
triple j's Hottest 100 will once again be on January 27, the second year since moving it off Australia day. Voting opens on December 10 and closes on January 22.
A key change to the Hottest 100 this year is triple j's new charity partner. After three years and raising over $600,000 with AIME to help support indigenous kids through high school and into university, the Hottest 100 will now partner with Lifeline.
Ket dates:
• Mon Dec 10, 2018: Voting opens, 8am
• Tues Jan 22, 2019: Voting closes, 9am
• Sat Jan 26, 2019: Australia Day
• Sun Jan 27, 2019: Hottest 100, from 12pm AEDT
• Mon Jan 28, 2019: Hottest 200-101, from 12pm AEDT
• Mon Jan 28, 2019: Classic Hottest 100 of 1998 on Double J, from 10am AEDT
• Sun Feb 3, 2019: Hottest 100 replay
