Triple M Central Queensland has welcomed a new voice to breakfast radio.

Victorian Anthony Stefanos joins Shannon ‘Pinky’ Neven on Central Queensland’s Triple M Breakfast. While not Central Queensland born and bred, Pinky had a red-hot CQ brand ready at the studio, officially welcoming him to beef country.

Together, they have called out to the region to share the best places to go and people to meet.

As a passionate Central Queenslander, Pinky is fast-tracking his learning curve, helping him learn and see everything about the region, including cooling off in the waters of the stunning Southern Great Barrier Reef.

As expected, Stefanos is already blown away. He said: “It’s truly beautiful here, and I can’t wait to be a part of the CQ community, broadcasting a really fun show and building a really strong relationship with the community."

SCA content director for Central Queensland and Wide Bay, Ryan Bebbington, said: "Anthony is a passionate and driven radio announcer and I’m very excited to see what this pair will get up to for CQ."

Catch the breakfast show weekdays from 6am to 9am on Triple M across Central Queensland.

Meanwhile across the country, Triple M Perth recently welcomed the 2023 AFL season with a launch event at The Camfield, along the banks of the Swan River and near Optus Stadium.

The event was attended by 100 guests and hosted by Triple M commentator Ryan Daniels. Daniels was joined by Triple M Rush Hour with JB & Billy’s James Brayshaw and Billy Brownless, who flew from Melbourne to attend.

Noel Quick
, SCA Perth head of sales, welcomed guests as they were treated to roving canapes, beverages and lunch.

Quick first addressed the depth of Triple M’s football offering and its high-profile talent pool in Perth and across the country. He also touched on LiSTNR and its capacity to offer advertisers engagement with incremental audiences, and of course – to stream football live.
